Membrane Umbrellas
The membrane umbrellas are part of the overall project for the glamping complex in Halkidiki, where we constructed various membrane structures.
This series is designed to shade the area around the pool and combines steel arches, a tensioned membrane and a cable system that provide the required stability and durability in a marine environment.
The doubly curved form of the membrane combines functionality and aesthetics, creating comfortable shaded spaces while integrating naturally into the architectural character of the complex.
Conical Membrane Structures
As part of the project for the glamping complex in Halkidiki, various conical membrane structures were implemented, including a double-cone structure and several single cones. They create distinctive accents within the environment and provide functional areas for shade and protection.
The double-cone structure stands out with its dynamic form and larger coverage area, making it suitable for more spacious communal areas. The single cones offer a more compact and elegant solution that can be naturally integrated into separate zones for relaxation, circulation or short-term use.
In both configurations, the tensioned membrane, supporting steel structure and cable system work together to ensure stability, durability and a distinctive visual identity aligned with the marine environment and the architectural character of the complex.
