A tensioned membrane was installed on the open deck of the Golden Iris cruise ship, designed to provide shade and comfort for passengers.

The structure was seamlessly integrated into the deck’s architecture and engineered to withstand harsh marine conditions: wind, salty air, and UV exposure. Its form blended aesthetics with functionality, enhancing the ship’s elegant silhouette and creating a pleasant onboard retreat.

Installed in 2015 during the vessel’s final seasons, the canopy served as a graceful addition to the Golden Iris’s Mediterranean voyages.
